The rolling bassline laced with Alannah Webb's intoxicating vocals feels like a punch to the jaw, followed by a sweet kiss to soften the blow. The Facades' debut single is full of grit and glamour, and it establishes the four-piece's position as the next rising stars of the Wigan scene. 'That Letter' offers a breath of fresh air amidst the familiar indie sounds that the local scene is more commonly known for, and it wouldn't feel out of place on the soundtrack of a neo-noir blockbuster or in a seedy speakeasy. If you're a fan of Black Honey, these guys may just become your new favourite band.
